‘Paulo,’ one of the last remaining operating steam locomotives in Hawai‘i, puffs to life as it offers a ride to third-grade students from Elsie Wilcox Elementary School on Monday. Scott Johnson, the Grove Farm Homestead Museum engineer, said Wilcox School students also will be visiting Paulo on Wednesday and next Monday. Between those visits, Paulo is scheduled to be in the Lights on Rice holiday parade Friday, and following the Monday visit, will be making an appearance at the monthly Train Day on Dec. 13.
