On May 31, KUGA 808 presented its Fourth Annual Love Life Creative Festival at Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall.
The event kicked off at 4:30 p.m., packing the convention hall with enthused onlookers, vendors, crafters, artists and dancers.
A dance showcase in the main theater, which ran at 5 and 7 p.m., featured the likes of The KUGA Co., The Boys and Girls Club, The Kaua‘i Community College Dance Club and many other dance groups. Every group put forth its own particular style to the delight of the crowd.
At 7 p.m., Wild and Free Kaua‘i hosted on a fashion show. Many beautiful models wore stylized, hand-dyed denim shorts — each distinct and unique.
Through the duration of the event, from 5 to 10 p.m., a hip-hop arena, presented by AudioBlade and DKC Productions, entertained spectators with over-the-top break dancing, rap battles and DJ demonstrations.
