Elections division looking for precinct officers

LIHU‘E — The Elections Division of the Office of the County Clerk is currently recruiting for Precinct Officials for polling places island-wide for the upcoming Primary and General Elections on August 11 and November 6, respectively, according to a county press release.

“Precinct Officials and other Election Day officials who volunteer to provide voting services to the public are vital to our democracy, and we sincerely appreciate the commitment and sacrifice that they demonstrate in order to ensure voters are able to exercise their right to vote,” said Ricky Watanabe, County Clerk.

Precinct Officials will receive an $85 honorarium for each full mday of service.
