Hats off to Mary Navarro, Laverne Bishop and all the Hale ‘Opio volunteers on another great Passion for Purses and High Tea at the Kaua‘i Beach Resort!
Joel Guy was doing the emcee, Jake Delaplane was in attendance so who said guys don’t do the Purses? Chef Mark Sassone had a nice new jacket (is that what he’s wearing for Saturday’s Visitor Industry Charity Walk?) and Nelson Batalion said mac salad is on the menu with the beef stew … wow! Broke da mouth!
Troy Lazaro is doing one last Zumba thingie for the Charity Walk Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Wilcox School cafeteria and this time, any donation for the one-hour Zumba workout with Troy’s RokStars will be solicited.
Kim Tamaoka found her Mother’s Day gift at the Kaua‘i Community Market Saturday, and Marissa Sandblom found hers Sunday at the Passion for Purses. Mother’s Day is getting closer, so time to roll up the sleeves.
Lisa Murphy just got home from vacation and just in time for the credit union food drive for the Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank which starts Monday until the end of the month.
