Gertrudis Agmata
Gertrudis “Matda/Tuding/Trudis” V. Agmata died on April 30, 2012, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital with her family beside her at the age of 63. She was born in Laoag City, Philippines and was a resident of Hanama‘ulu, Kaua‘i. She worked more than 20 years at Kaua‘i Beach Resort in the housekeeping department before retiring.
She is survived by her husband, Epifanio Agmata; daughter, Eumalyn Mabini (Cedric Alonzo); sister, Eugenia (Bernardo) Anselmo; niece, Rowena (Wendell) Badua; nephew, Ronald (Marie Tess) Anselmo; and numerous cousins.
Join the family May 11 at 6 p.m., at the Hanama‘ulu residence as they celebrate and reminisce over her life. Service to be held on May 12, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Visitation is from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., with Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihu’e Cemetery. Please join the family for lunch at Hanama‘ulu residence.

Joseph Kanoa
Joseph Maurice Kanoa died at his residence in ‘Aina Haina, Hawai‘i on April 14, 2012, at the age of 86. He was born in Kekaha, Kaua‘i.
He worked at AMFAC Corporation and Devoe Paint Company in Honolulu, Hawai‘i. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Joseph was survived by his sons, Maurice-Wayne Kanoa, Lyle Kanoa, J. Marvin Kanoa; Brother, Mervin Kanoa; sisters, Juliet Aiu, Lorraine Like, Ellen Young; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Dolores Booth
Dolores (Lolly) C. Yadao Booth of Lawa‘i Valley, Kaua‘i, died on May 6, 2012 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, at the age of 79. She was born on Dec. 30, 1932, in Kaua‘i, Hawai‘i.
She was preceded in death by Margie Speth and Marlo Savage.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Booth; seven sons and four daughters, David Lopes Jr., William and Nina Lopes, Doinicio Yadao, Laura and David Gustafson, Mal Lopes, Julie and Jesus Lopes, Franklin and Marilyn Lopes, Lorna and Danny Goforth, Danny Speth, Albert Sr., MyHanh Lopes, and Terry Savage; 28 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; parents, Doinicio and Louisa Yadao; brothers, Daniel, Angel, and Henry; and sisters, Sida, Nina, Glory and Rose. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Leonora Chock
Leonora Javellana Chock of Honolulu, Hawai‘i, died on April 17, 2012, at the age of 85. Born on Dec. 15, 1926, in Kapahi, Kaua‘i, she was a retired pantry worker at the Sheraton Waikiki.
She is survived by her sons, Gary K. (Didi) Chock of Wailua, Kaua‘i, Lenox K. (Lei) Chock of Palolo, O‘ahu; daughters, Dale H. (Glenn) Ching of Kapa‘a, Kaua‘i, Colleen M. (Jaime) Valdez of Kapa‘a, Kaua‘i, Monica P. (Bill) Carpentero of Palolo, O‘ahu; brothers, Jose Javellana of Kaneohe, O‘ahu, Aurelio (Gloria) Javellana of Pearl City, O‘ahu; sister, Conchita Javellana of Waimea, Kaua‘i; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Borthwick Mortuary Makai Chapel in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, on Friday, May 11, 2012, at 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Service to follow. Committal service at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl will be held at 11:30 a.m.
