Caleb Wolfson
Caleb “Keoni” Wolfson, of Kailua Kona, died on April 12, 2012 at Kona Community Hospital at the ager of 38. Born on January 24, 1974 in Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i, he was the owner of Power Dive Hawai‘i LLC, a PADI instructor, fisherman, open water skin diver, historian for Body Glove Cruises and an electrical journeyman.
He is survived by daughter, Keiko Wolfson; son, Justin Wolfson, both of Hilo; parents, Nani and Don Wolfson; brother, Kona (Candee) Wolfson; sisters, Erika (Charles) Choo, Ciara (Andrew) Gannet, all of Maui, Emily (Zion) Kawahakui of Honolulu, Anela Wolfson of Maui; grandparents, Mercedes Hendrickson, John Carroll, all of Honolulu; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 29 at Makaeo Pavilion (main events pavilion located at the Kona Old Airport). Service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Call or text (808) 281-6153 for information.

Maryann Puaokalani
Maryann (Romero) Puaokalani died peacefully at Orchard Park nursing home in Tacoma, Wash. on April 7, 2012. She was 67 years old. She grew up in Tacoma along with her two brothers and five sisters. After high school, Maryann embarked on a grand adventure and moved to Kaua‘i, Hawai‘i where she lived for nearly 18 years before returning to Tacoma. She was an avid Seattle Mariners baseball fan and loved listening to Hawaiian music. Maryann brought smiles to everyone she met and was always a social butterfly at the retirement home she lived in. The highlights of her life were her grandchildren; Devan, Malia, Makenzee and Madelyn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Keoki Puaokalani; and brother, Ron Fijalka. Family members include her daughters, Lisa (Scott) Torve and Wendy (Darrell) Braaten; her son, Jesse (Jessica) Puaokalani; and grandchildren Devan and Malia Braaten and Makenzee and Madelyn Puaokalani. Also included are her sisters, Donna Garcia, Carolyn (Art) Folden, Pam (Dave) Johnson, Marilyn (Bob) Beale, Andrea (Joe) Alalem; sister-in-law, Joan Fijalka; and her brother, Jim (Karen) Fijalka, plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her final resting place will be with Keoki at Tahoma National Cemetery.
