High surf closes Ha‘ena and Ke‘e beaches; shark sighting off Ha‘ena Beach
The Kaua‘i Fire Department reports that the North Shore beaches of Ha‘ena and Ke‘e are closed today due to high surf. Lifeguards also report that a shark was sighted in waters off Ha‘ena Beach at about 9:30 a.m. today. Both
