‘OHANA DAY TOUR — ‘Ohana Day tours are every Sunday at the National Tropical Botanical Garden. Tours of the McBryde Garden or hte Allerton Garden are free to Hawai‘i residents with valid ID on a space-available basis. The McBryde Garden tour is self-guided. No reservations needed. The Southshore Visitors center is located at 4425 Lawa‘i Rd. in Po‘ipu (across from the Spouting Horn). 742-2433.

5TH ANNUAL WAHINE FEST 2012 — 3 to 9 p.m. at Children of the Land at Kaua‘i Village Shopping Center, Kapa‘a. To Honor Life through music and dance. ST. THERESA SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE AND OPEN ENROLLMENT — 6 p.m. at St. Theresa School in Kekaha. This year St. Theresa has been selected as a Renaissance Lighthouse Candidate School. Only 27 other schools in the country have been given this same distinction. Through interactive computer hardware, advanced educational software, and teacher training the goal of this program is to take academic achievement to a whole new level on the west side of Kaua‘i.
