Next generation of scientists exhibit experiments at science fair

A giant humpback whale, robots and experiment displays filled the War Memorial Convention Hall March 2 during the Kaua‘i District Science Fair.

Student scientists mingled with the public as they showed off their achievements.

The Kauaibots robotics team, composed of students from Kapa‘a, Kaua‘i and Waimea high schools and Island School, hosted demonstrations in the hall alongside an inflatable humpback whale that children could explore.
