The award honors local businesses, nonprofits, individuals and government agencies that have displayed leadership in developing innovative “green” practices over the past 12 months.
Awards will be judged on a combination of innovation, environmental impact and overall effectiveness, according to a news release. These three judging criteria apply to all types of entrants, including those who provide green products, services and programs.
Entry forms and instructions are available at www.kapaarotary.org. Completed entries are due no later than March 31 to Kapa‘a Rotary vocational chair Judah Freed by email at greenawards@judahfreed.com or by fax to 822-0547. Winners will be announced April 18.
