Mahalo to Aletha Thomas of Monkeypod Jam for the surprise Wednesday morning with Jason Fujinaka at the FM97 … yes, we know, today is the last day of National Marmalade Week and you can get some at the Kaua‘i Community Market at the Kaua‘i Community College.
Randall Francisco of the Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce was generous enough to share some coffee (Sgt. Heidi Blair of North Dakota really likes the Kaua‘i Coffee!) and pasteries with the military during the final KIUC director candidates forum.
Sgt. Vincent Zotto of Windsor, Conn., can’t figure out all the jackets and sweaters, but understands “roughing it” since some of his clothes got wet during the Wednesday afternoon deluge. He and Sgt. Blair were providing shuttle service for kupuna at the KCC parking lot for the Tropic Care Kaua‘i site.
Brian Yamamoto said there is a group of ethnobiology students who are “roughing it” in Koke‘e doing field work and literally camping and doing work for three weeks.
Happy Girls Day, Kaua‘i!
