Happy Camper for Saturday, February 25, 2012

Lauren Lagoc was not happy their county winter basketball league coincided with the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation season. Lauren played with Kaulupono basketball and was helping Casey Jane Fernandez, another Kaulupono player, in helping Steven and Karen Matsumoto keep score during the opening games for the boys in grades four through six Tuesday night.

Matt Taba was on hand doing his homework as the coach of Papalina and spending some time chatting with Daniel Simao, who was watching the Team Central games.

Chantal (her Wai‘ale‘ale Project name is Ka‘ala) Zarbaugh (she discovered the ramen at Ara’s in Hanama‘ulu) was helping with registration Wednesday at  Kaua‘i Community College, the event coinciding with Student Day bringing Lisa Murphy of the Kaua‘i Government Employees Federal Credit Union to the campus. Unfortunately, Ian Ross had to wrap up business at the Kaua‘i County Council meeting.

OK, time to check out the Kaua‘i High School Band Boosters Rummage Sale at Kaua‘i Veterans Center!
