Kapa‘a High School’s Administration, Parent Community Networking Center and Title 1 is presenting a community/parent meeting featuring “Digital Tattoos: Real Ethics in a Virtual World” by FBI Special Agent Arnold Laanui Jr. March 1 in the school library 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Adolescents, teens and adults can benefit from a frank discussion about the characteristics of the Internet, emerging technologies, and the unintended consequences of their on-line behavior, according to a release. “Digital Tattoos” examines how modern tools create permanent marks in virtual space, scrutinizes online behavior and answers why people should be vigilant of their digital citizenship.
In addition to this meeting Laanui has scheduled a student presentation at Kapa‘a High.
