Florefin Mande
Florefin Shirley Mande of Hanamaulu died at Garden Isle Health Care on Jan. 26, 2012, at the age of 76. She was born in Kahuku, O‘ahu, on Nov. 20, 1935, and retired as an assistant housekeeper with The Westin Kaua‘i and was also a well-known seamstress and bowler.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ernest Mande, daughter, Kathlyn Mande; siblings, Jerry (Violet) Fernandez, Suzanna (Irenio) Salvacion and Ben Castillo.
She is survived by her husband, William Mande Sr.; sons, Kalena Glenford Mande, William (Cindy) Mande Jr.; daughter, Melory (Napuanani) Mande-Oliver; sisters, Angie (Luis) Flores; brothers, Sonny (Patricia) Ventura, Edward (Nickie) Tarape; sister-in-law, Silvia Castillo; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, at St. Catherine Church with visitation from 8 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Mande family with arrangements.
Lolita Bagaoisan
Lolita Ragus Bagaoisan of Kekaha passed away on Jan. 27, 2012, at the age of 76. She was born on Jan. 21, 1936, in Barangay #24 Nanguyudan, Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She was a suite attendant at the Embassy Poipu Pointe and retired in 1989.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Loreto Bagaoisan Sr.; sons, Manuel and Sammy Bagaoisan; daughter, Marisa Bagaoisan; brother, Florendo Ragus and brother-in-law, Roxas Gallego.
She is survived by her children, Antonio (Gloria) Bagaoisan; Roderick (Deborah Bagaoisan and Loreto (Jeanna) Bagaoisan Jr.; siblings, Jesus Marcelino (Salud) Ragus; Virginia Gallego; Encarning (Rodolfo) Dela Cruz; Norma (Gregorio) Dumlao; Corazon (Felipe) Remigio; Luz (Calixto) Bagaoisan Jr. and sister-in-law, Gloria Ragus; grandchildren, Mark Bagaoisan; Glorianne (Jarren) Kaneakua; Crystal (Selwyn) Bagaoisan-Rita; Kamuela Numazawa; David Christian Bagaoisan and Nicholas Bagaoisan; great-grandchildren, Malisha and Mark Kepa Bagaoisan; Jayden, Javin and Jazen Kaneakua and Shylah and Cyani Bagaoisan-Rita.
Wake services will be held on Feb. 24 at Borthwick Mortuary in Koloa from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Theresa Church in Kekaha on Feb. 25 from 8 to 10 a.m. Burial will be held at Hanapepe Public Cemetery.
Alfredo Agbisit
Alfredo Olivas Agbisit of Kaumakani died Jan. 27, 2012, at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 87. Born on March 4, 1924, in Magsingal Ilocos Sur, Philippines, he was a retired field irrigator for Olokele Sugar Co.
He was preceded in death by Caroline Labuguen Agbisit and Leoning Agbisit.
He is survived by wife Carmen Udarbe Agbisit; children Jonarene Agbisit (Kyle Pacheco), Shaevona Valle (Jose) and Mervin Karl Agbisit; two grandchildren Caroline Noble (Justin Sr.) and Jordan Valle; one great-grandson Justin Noble Jr.; siblings Dominga Utrera and Natividad Costales (Mariano); in-laws Orencia Ancheta, Cerefina Costales (Pedro), Antonio Udarbe (Vanessa), Inocencia Udarbe, Dolores Navalta, and Lorna Groth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Kekaha; Mass at 10 a.m. Followed by burial at the Hanapepe Public Cemetery. Casual attire.

Ward Hayward
Ward Arnold Hayward of Princeville died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Jan. 30, 2012, at the age of 73. He was born in Massachusetts on July 4, 1938. He was a college professor at the University of Hawai‘i teaching electrical engineering, and at the Department of Computer Science at Chaminade University of Honolulu, a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, a movie critic, and member of the Hawai‘i Yacht Club and the Nawiliwili Yacht Club.
He is survived by his wife, Masumi Hayward, and numerous friends.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, Feb. 12, at Hanalei Beach Pavilion beginning at 11 a.m.

Masulit
Constancia Arcangel Masulit of Hanama‘ulu died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Jan. 30, 2012, at the age of 56. She was born in the Philippines on Oct. 5, 1955. She was a laborer with the corn industry.
She is survived by her father, Benjamin Arcangel; four sons, Jonathan Masulit, Bernard Masulit, Richard (Janice) Masulit, Benedicto (Jezzy) Masulit; 1 daughter, Mylene Masulit; 2 sisters, Anrelia Arcangel, Baby Arcangel; 2 brothers, Felix Arcangel, Felimon Arcangel; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, Feb. 9, at Immaculate Conception Church from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihu‘e Cemetery.

Jose Marino Tejada Molina of ‘Ele‘ele died at his home on Jan. 29, 2012, at the age of 73. He was born in the Philippines on Oct. 7, 1938. He was a retired landscaper with the Grand Hyatt Resort.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lucas Molina; two sisters, Mercedes Cardenas, Ma Caridad Ballesteros; and one brother, Arnulfo Molina.
He is survived by his wife, Rosita Molina; mother, Ana Tejada Molina; two sons, Emanuel (Remelyn) Molina, Michael Molina; three daughters, Madel (Ronald) Britanico, Mary Rose Asunio, Marissa (John) Molina; two sisters, Cresencia Batin, Esther (Romeo) Juan; 11 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Feb. 10, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo from 8:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Raphael’s Church Cemetery in Koloa.

Stephen Maurice Perreira Sr. of Kalaheo died Jan. 24, 2012, at home at the age of 77. Born on Oct. 3, 1934, in ‘Ele‘ele, Kaua‘i, he was a retired machinist with McBryde Sugar Co.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Theresa Perreira; daughter, Vicky Lou Perreira and brother, John I. Perreira.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice V. Perreira; sons, Stephen M. (Susan) Perreira Jr. of Kalaheo, David L. (Annette) Perreira Sr. of Waimea and Robert A. (Valerie) Perreira Sr. of ‘Ele‘ele; daughter, Sharon M. (Dennis) Jose Sr. of Wailua; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Norman (Patricia) Perreira; sisters, Delphine McCormick, Lillian Jardin and Adelaide Ross, all of Kalaheo; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
