LIHU‘E — A Kapa‘a woman is wanted as a fugitive felon after missing a sentencing hearing, a county news release states.
Sharilyn Ozonko, 26, of Kapa’a was convicted of one count of theft in the second degree, a class C felony, for stealing more than $1,400 worth of jewelry from a Kukui‘ula Village store in May.
She was out of custody when she failed to appear for a sentencing hearing on Nov. 17.
Chief Judge Randal Valenciano of the 5th Circuit Court issued warrants for Ozonko’s arrest and set cash bail at $101,000.
County officials are asking for the community’s help in locating the fugitive.
