Tara Helen O’Connor on flute, James Austin Smith on oboe and Peter Kolkay on bassoon will be playing at 3 p.m. on Jan. 14 at the Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i Resort and Spa in Po‘ipu sand again at 3 p.m. on Jan. 15 at the St. Regis Princeville Resort.
During each of the performances, guests will have an opportunity to mingle with cocktails and pupu to the music of the Green Lake Quartet and participate in a live auction led by Ron Wiley of two trips for two to see a theater performance in New York, two trips for two to see the symphony in San Francisco, Calif., a trip for two to see the Philharmonic in Vienna, and a trip for two to Bora Bora.
Produced and sponsored by Personal Finance, a flier from the firm states one of the New York or San Francisco trips will be duplicated as a prize for a donation at each location.
Admission to the event is $80 per person, with $50 of each ticket being contributed to the Kaua‘i United Way to help support the work it does on the island.
