Grace Belliveau
Grace Belliveau of Kapa‘a, Kaua‘i, passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Dec.19, 2011, at the age of 95. She was born on Dec. 13, 1916 in Medford, Mass. She was a retired Secretary for Tewksbury school in Massachusetts.
She was receded in death by husband, Albert Belliveau.
She is survived by sons, Albert Belliveau, Jr. of Kapa‘a and John Belliveau of Kapa‘a; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church, Kapa‘a. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment private at Punchbowl Veterans Cemetery, Honolulu, at a later date.

Sue Fukumoto of Koloa died on Oct. 26, 2011 at Hale Kupuna Heritage home at the age of 88. She was born on Dec. 1, 1922, in Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i. She was a Clerk with Hale Kaua‘i.
She is survived by her son, Melvin Fukumoto; daughters, Elaine Sasaki (Mel) of Mililani, O‘ahu and Sharon Moriwaki (Bert) of Laguna Niguel, California; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack Hijirida (June) of Waikoloa, Hawai‘i and Satoru Hijirida (Gladys) of Kane‘ohe, O‘ahu; sisters, Aileen Grymes (Jim) of Kailua, O‘ahu and Betty Oshio (Takeshi) of ‘Aiea; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services were private.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
Morito Sato
Morito “George” Sato of ‘Ele‘ele died on December 22, 2011, at Hale Kupuna Heritage Home at the age of 95. Born on May 5, 1916 in Waimea, he retired as a Meter Reader with Kaua‘i Electric.
He is survived by his son, Clifton (Joyce) Sato of Kalaheo; daughters, Arlene Sato of Honolulu and Sandra Sato of Hilo; grandchildren, Elysse Sato of Monmouth, Oregon and Jordan “Morito” Sato of Ashland, Oregon; brother-in-law, Takeshi Hirano of Orange, California; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 3 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Garden Island Mortuary; service at 4 p.m. officiated by Rev. Noriaki Fujimori. Casual attire is suggested.
