The Kekaha Titans Junior Pee Wee cheer squad finished second during the National Pop Warner Cheer and Dance competition in Florida, Monday.
The Titans finished the Intermediate Cheer Small division with a 73.43 percent score for its silver medal, dropping to the Giles County Colts who topped that division with a 74.51 percent score.
Third-place honors went to the North Port Mustangs Stallions (71.77 percent) followed by the Michigan City Wolves (69.06 percent) and the Venice Vikings Knights (67.06 percent).
The Kekaha Titans also have a Junior Midget squad at the national championships and are joined by the Koloa Redskins with a Junior Midget squad.
Those teams are scheduled to take the floor, Wednesday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
The 2011 Pop Warner Cheer and Dance National Championships started Dec. 3 and will run through Dec. 10.
