LIHU‘E — Registration for the county’s Parks and Recreation Department community youth basketball leagues will take place on Nov. 28 and 29.
Boys and girls in grades 6 through 8 are eligible to participate in the program.
Cost for each participant is $30 and only checks or money orders payable to the “Director of Finance” will be accepted during the registration.
Registration period is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kilauea, Lihu‘e, Kapa‘a, and Kalaheo neighborhood centers only.
Tentative start date for the basketball leagues is Jan. 9, 2012.
