Mary Marie Case of Po‘ipu died on Nov. 4, 2011, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 91. She was born on July 13, 1920, in San Diego, Calif. She was a Staff Sgt. during WWII, she was in the U.S. Army (Women’s Air Corps), stationed in the Philippines and New Guinea, she was awarded a Bronze Star.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert Case, Po‘ipu; sons, Gary Case, Po‘ipu; Jeff Case, Big Island; sister, Connie Hillburn, California; brother, George Mosher, California; 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Nov. 20, at Po‘ipu Beach Park Pavilion from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
