Anne Bill
Anne Sinclair “Sinc” Knudsen Bill passed away peacefully at home in Koloa on Nov. 11, 2011. Sinclair was born on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i April 15, 1940.
She was a world ranked senior tennis player who represented her country on many Senior Cup Teams. She has always been an inspiration not only to her tennis family, but to all of those who grew up with her in Honolulu. She was a coach and tennis teacher for over 15 years in Santa Barbara, California before returning to her beloved Kaua‘i. Above all else was her love for her family.
At her side in the end, we all sang songs and told stories of old Kaua‘i. She will be missed by so many.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Bill, six children, six grandchildren, and her brother, Eric L Knudsen.
As per her request, the family wishes all donations be made to “The Muriel Osborne Hawai‘i Tennis Fund”, in care of the Hawai‘i Community Foundation, 4139 Hardy Street, Lihu‘e, Hawai‘i, 96766, to the attention of Darcie Yukimura.
