Gregoria Caberto
Gregoria “Gloria” Caberto of Kapa‘a died on Nov. 3, 2011, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 84. Born March 11, 1927, on Kaua‘i, she was a dedicated homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Juan “Carlos” Caberto; parents Martin Villatora and Hertrudis Nadarisay; step-father, Cecilio Nadarisay; brothers, Raymond “Ray” Villatora and Victoriano “Vic” Villatora.
She is survived by six sons, John (Sue) Caberto of Lihu‘e, Ronald (Loreen) Caberto of Kilauea, Anthony Caberto, Leroy Caberto of Kapahi, Carl “Kaly” (Holly) Caberto of Wailua Homesteads, Jerry Caberto of Kapahi; daughter-in-law, Charlette Souza of ‘Oma‘o; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Diane Vierra of O‘ahu, Florencia “Dor” Alviar of Puhi, Julie “Jaye” Lopes of Makaweli, Dolores “Dolly” Alimboyoguen of California, Mercedes “Mercie” Inez of Kekaha; brothers, Benjamin “Benny” Villatora of Puhi, Bernardo “Dong” Nadarisay of Lihu‘e, Antonio “Tony” Nadarisay of Kapa‘a, Frank “Frankie” Nadarisay of Puhi; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens. Family requests casual attire.

Louis Rivera
Louis “Puna” Rivera of McBride, Kaua‘i died Nov. 4, 2011, at home in Hanapepe at age 32. Born in Waimea on March 7, 1979, he was a painter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Abraham Rivera.
He is survived by his mother, Vanya Fagasa of Hanapepe; companion, Charis Olson of Hanapepe; daughters, Chazlyn Olson-Rivera of Hanapepe, Charlyn Olson-Rivera of Hanapepe, Chaelyn Olson-Rivera of Hanapepe; son, Chasen Olson-Rivera of Hanapepe; sister, Kau‘i (Mari) Doldolea of O‘ahu; brothers, Jonathan (Amy) Rivera of Kalaheo, Alex Rivera of O‘ahu, Aaron Rivera of O‘ahu, and Abraham Rivera Jr. of Kapa‘a; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Nov. 19, at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary Chapel, Koloa. Visitation at 10 a.m. Service to be held at 11 a.m.
Burial to follow at The Hawaiian Cemetery, Hanapepe.

Frances Sagadraca
Frances Tabag Sagadraca of Lihu‘e peacefully died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Nov. 10, 2011, at age 82. Born in Pasuquin, Philippines on April 2, 1929, she worked as a waitress for many years at Wailua Marina Restaurant, Spindrifter and Ono Family Restaurant.
She is survived by her husband, Hermogenes Sagadraca of Lihu‘e; son, Danny (Odette) Sagadraca of O‘ahu; grandchildren, Sasha Sagadraca and Daniel Sagadraca, both of Arizona; brother, Eusebio Tabag of Philippines; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, Nov. 18, at the War Memorial Convention Hall with visitation from 8:30 a.m. and services celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens.
