Everyone at the Rotary Club of Kalepa Sunrise golf tournament went home with a prize, said Sharron Weber, tournament chair.
Dan O’Connell, Jeff Nash and Kui Viado made up the trio who won the tournament’s grand prize for its sixth place finish, the sixth place earning the big prize because the tournament was celebrating its sixth year, Oct. 30.
Longest Drive honors went to Alan Roodt and Carol Pratt, whose family, including husband Sam and son James were all winners, Sam and Jason earning first place honors.
Cheryl Nickles, Brian Chapman and Taylan Azeka were Closest-to-the-pin winners.
Proceeds from the annual golf tournament will be used for scholarships which will be awarded by the Rotary Club of Kalepa Sunrise next year, Weber said in a release.
“Everyone went home happy with a prize,” Weber said. “The tournament could not have been as successful without the help of the many sponsors who stepped forward to support the Rotary Club of Kalepa Sunrise and its scholarship program.”
