Domi Alayvilla (no more peanuts at the farmers market) must be thrilled, too because Kristyn Yamamotoya is one of the three Kaua‘i girls heading for states.
Wanda Shibata needs a volunteer to get some Kenny Miyoshi Masa’s Shave Ice since she cannot get out of the office until after the sun goes down. Matthew said Kenny is his neighbor and the shave ice is a great retirement career.
Hats off to Lauren Yama (Mary Bea Porter King and Charlie King were in a tournament on the Mainland) on hosting a great Kiahuna Junior Fall Challenge over the weekend! Naea Oda’s parents had the right idea — lunch at Joe’s on the Green following the final round!
Milburn Ho’s (Art Umezu was sitting next to her on the plane ride) parents were able to squeeze in shopping between the two rounds, and combined with the winds, Kiahuna Golf Club played great!
OK, time to go check out more AYSO playoff action.
