Bunga Fuertes was so excited he had to call coach Brandon Moises when he found out Waimea boys won the KIF cross country championships, Saturday.
Bunga was at the Senior Craft Fair doing his Bunga’s Chicken which was really good before having the Kaumakani Seniors’ layered Jello for dessert.
Melanie Okamoto said the Department of Parks and Recreation had new Na Kupuna Council shirts for the event and another new thing (watch out Zumba!) is Sandra Matsumoto’s Drums Alive program.
The Kilauea Seniors were getting excited because Ed Kenney was in the audience and they were going to call him up to do some songs with them.
Aaron Uyeda, Clyde Vito and Pat Viernes had security detail for this big event where Glenda Tamashiro was trying to get Mel Rapozo and KipuKai Kuali‘i to attend the ballroom dancing gala.
Nadine Nakamura had just come from cross country and was heading to the Safeway demonstration while a lot of other people were off to the Waimea High School homecoming.
OK, time to see what’s in store for Monday.
