Happy birthday to a lot of people over the weekend! Kelsey Lima can use lessons in crowing (where is Russell Da Rooster when you need him?) and Larry Rivera needed someone to call the Kaua‘i Museum to let them know he was going to be 10 minutes late.
Happy birthday Kelsey! Over at the Hanapepe Stadium, Gail Thompson (she was walking at the Alzheimer’s walk with the Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School Leadership Class) said it was Warren Cordeiro-Madeira’s birthday, Saturday, and Alika Ventura’s sister was waiting with cupcakes, Sunday, following the Koloa Redskins’ game against the Lihu‘e Patriots.
When Ron Wiley wants triplets, check out Tito Villanueva of American Medical Response who was juggling between the Kmart National Safety Day Fair, the AARP Community Luncheon and food drive benefiting the Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank and finally showing up at the KIF football game (Uncle John Kaneholani has really good ‘Super Hot Dogs’).
Kudos to Andy Melamed and all his ‘ohana on a great KLA fundraiser, Sunday!
OK, time to go check out the final KIF air riflery match in Hanapepe.
