Jesusa Fernandez
Jesusa Andres Fernandez of Ontario, Canada, died May 14, 2011, at Toronto East Genral Hospital, Toronto, Ontario at age 58. Born in Bacarra Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was an employee at Park Hyatt Hotel.
She is survived by her brothers, Ernesto, Rodrigo, Gil and Romeo; sisters, Godofreda F. Millo and Andrea F. Thomas; 14 nieces and nephews; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, at Immaculate Conception Church. Visitation will be at 8:30 a.m. and Mass to follow at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Lihu‘e Cemetery.
Dora Camarillo
Dora Pauole Camarillo of Hanapepe died Sept. 23, 2011, at Pali Momi Medical Center at age 82. Born April 25, 1929, in Waimea, Kaua‘i, she retired from Up to Date Cleaners.
She is survived by her sons, Steven (Paula) Camarillo and Archie Camarillo; daughters, Brenda (Rick) Funk, Carolyn (Norman) Glassco, Bonnie Ann (Eric) Dela Cruz; sister, Miriam Sasaki; brothers, William (Tsuneko) Pauole and Clarence Pauole; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Private services were held.
Arrangements were made by Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary.
Evelyn Austin
Evelyn Nishida Austin of Kailua died Oct. 2, 2011, at Straub Clinic and Hospital at age 68. Born on Kaua‘i, she was a retired executive underwriter for First Insurance Company.
She is survived by her husband, Craig of Kailua; son, Dean (Cathy) Yamamoto of Honolulu; three grandsons, Eric, Matthew and Reese; brother, Herbert Nishida of Kane‘ohe; sister, Susan Morita of Kailua; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, at Nu‘uanu Memorial Park and Mortuary. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.; memorial service will be at 11 a.m. No flowers. Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements made by Nuuanu Memorial Park and Mortuary.
