Surf’s up for schools

Gov. Neil Abercrombie, Superintendent Kathryn Matayoshi and Board of Education member Keith Amemiya, are scheduled to announce Monday morning in Waikiki that surfing will become a sport in Hawai‘i’s public high schools, according to a state press release.
