Maude Leialoha Kaiwa Agor of Lakewood, Wash., (Kekaha, Kaua‘i) died at Tacoma General Hospital on Sept. 1, 2011, at age 57. She was born on March 16, 1954, in Lihu‘e.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte M. Kaiwa; grandparents, Ida and Edward Baba; and in-laws, Dionecio and Virginia Agor.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Agor; two sons, Michael Anthony (Wilma Lee) Agor, Shawn (Tammy) Agor; two daughters, Tasha Lee (Cilio) Pacheco and Dawn (Joel) Macugay; 13 grandchildren who all reside in Lakewood, Wash.; one grandchild and one great-grandson from O‘ahu; brother, Lloyd Kaiwa; and two sisters, Napua Rivera and Ipo Burley all of Kaua‘i.
Services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-Steilacoom Ward (Washington). Service officiated by Bishop Allan Pearson, followed by burial at Mountain View Cemetery in Lakewood, Wash. Correspondences may be sent to her family at 10701 Military Rd. SW Lakewood, WA 98498.
William Renti Cruz
Dr. William A. Renti Cruz of Kalaheo, Kaua‘i, died on Aug. 31, 2011, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 72. Born Jan. 1, 1939, in Waimea, Kaua‘i, he was a retired physician with Kaua‘i Medical Clinic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juanita and Gil Renti Cruz.
He is survived by his wife, Ercelly (Soriano) Renti Cruz; son, Daniel Gil (Charlotte) Renti Cruz of Honolulu; daughters, Diana (Emmette) Honjiyo of Kapa‘a and Dena Renti Cruz of Kalaheo; brother, Abraham Solomon (Josephine) Renti Cruz; sisters, Perlita (Gerry) Mararagan of Kekaha; Trinidad Larson of Minneapolis, Minn.; Elizabeth (Joseph Sr.) O’Donnell of New York City, N.Y., and Saturnina Rehwaldt of Minneapolis, Minn.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 8 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo; mass officiated by Father Edison Pamintuan, M.S. will begin at 10 a.m. Followed by burial at the Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe. Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.
