Pioneer helps out Westside students

School officials and students from West Kaua‘i schools accept a check from Dr. Cindy Goldstein of Pioneer Hi-Bred during a recent ‘Ele‘ele School PTSA meeting. Goldstein said the check will provide funds for needy children at four Westside schools who would otherwise not have school shirts. Additionally, Goldstein said Denise Moriguchi, April Buyat and Sarah Styan of the Waimea Research Center volunteer in leadership roles with the PTSA and the ‘Ele‘ele School Community Council.
