Kapa‘a basketball star head to New York

Jessilyn Artaho-Aki, a recent graduate of Kapa‘a High School and a standout athlete in girls basketball, stands outside the Wells College in Aurora, N.Y., where she will play point guard for head coach Mike O‘Brien. Vonda Artaho-Aki, Jessilyn’s mother, said the Kapa‘a girls basketball player was recruited and received a financial award to play basketball at the New York college.
