Plein air artist debuts new work at Halele‘a

A plein air painting by Saim Caglayan of a Samoan Va‘a, which was one of the seven canoes that were in Hanalei  a few weeks ago. Meet the artist and see more of Caglayan’s work from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Halele‘a: The Art of Hawaiian Living. The show is August 18-25. Halele‘a is at 2829 Ala Kalanikaumaka Rd. in Po‘ipu.
