Aloun trial meltdown may impact other case

The Aloun Farms trial collapsed last week after it became clear the prosecution had misled a grand jury about the law. Now, lawyers for Global Horizons — a labor recruiting company also facing human trafficking charges — want to know if prosecutors did the same in their case.

“My lawyers are preparing a motion to ask the judge to give them transcript of the grand jury,” said Mordechai “Motty” Orian, CEO of Global Horizons. “After what happened in this case, now there is a suspicion that (the prosecutor) didn’t present the right things (to the grand jury).
