Federico “Fred” Baldivino Bristol of Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i passed away on July 24, 2011 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 87.
He was born on July 18, 1924 in Pangansinan, Mabini, Philippines, one of ten children to Cirilo and Pilar Bristol. In 1946 he moved to Kaua‘i where he met and married Revelina Butacan and was married 61 years. He retired as an engineer for McBryde Sugar Plantation.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Angeline and Esterlita Bristol.
He is survived by his wife, Revelina Bristol of Puhi; son, Rodney (Paula) Bristol of Wailua; daughter, Veda Bristol of Puhi; son, Warren (Susan) Bristol of Woodinville, Washington; grandchildren, Ronney, Donney, Denney, Roddy, Jenney, Randy, Eric, Jacob and Denaje; great-grandchildren, Maverick, Brennan, Maddox, Reeve and Elijah.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary in Koloa at 10 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary.

Tsuyuko “Patsy” Ikehara Peleras of Kekaha died on July 21, 2011, at the age of 88. Born on May 17, 1923, in Waimea, Kaua‘i, she was a self-employed business owner of Spotlight.
She is survived by her sons, Herman Satoru Peleras (Rose Marie) of Mililani, Darrick Juanito Mitsuo Peleras (Ellen) of Kekaha, Nelson Conrado Kenji Peleras (Elsie) of California, Harold Sedro Peleras of Honolulu and Kelvin Pelin Peleras (Rose) of Las Vegas; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Seikichi Ikehara of Hanapepe and Seiichi Ikehara of Waipahu; sister, Beatrice Moreira of Honolulu; step-sister, Thelma Nagata (Stanley) of Waimea; sister-in-law, Dottie Ikehara; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 am to 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 7, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel. Service will be 10:30 a.m.
Aloha attire is suggested.
