Happy Camper for Saturday, July 16, 2011

Adam Orens brought his daughter Ashley to enjoy some of the goodies, Tuesday, at Brick Oven Pizza, Wailua, during the Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours. Adam said he installed all the big-screen TVs in the facility and got to network with other businesses.

Mahalo to Randall Francisco and Carol Texeira. The event was a nice stopping point en route to the Kaua‘i Youth Summer Basketball league title game in Kilauea.

Hats off to coach Philip Baclayon on the Hanakila Boys 14 division win, Tuesday. Karen Matsumoto said the Hanakila and coach Bobby Kamakele and the Kaulupono girls are on O‘ahu for a tournament this weekend.

OK, there’s still time to catch Thomas Noyes and Dr. Randy Blake for the bike class at the Vector Control facility in Pua Loke — and the Kaua‘i Path is offering a $35 discount!

If you’re not going to visit Scott Giarman, Lori Almarza or Lynnette Medrano-Stine, you can go check out Shelly Gerardo, Jocelyn Barriga and Lorna Santos at the Lawa‘i Cannery garage sale…hmm, is Sharmaine Simao going to be there?
