LIHU‘E — The Qi Center will be holding its summer Respiratory and Immune System Humanitarian Event from 9 to 11 a.m. this Thursday, Sunday, and Aug. 13, a news release states.
All are invited to participate in the seventh annual event with Grandmaster Hong. Participants experience the summer natural healing alignment which enhances the immune system for asthma, allergies, respiratory colds, flu, vog relief and more for the entire year, the release states.
Easy exercises, sampling of healing foods, and herbal patches highlight the morning program, the release states.
The nonprofit Qi Center, 3343 Kanakolu St., Lihu‘e, hosts this event which is co-sponsored by the University of Hawai‘i. For optimum results, participants are urged to attend as many days as possible.
Registration is at the door and the event is suitable for ages 10 years and older. Gates open at 8:30 a.m. and the program starts at 9 a.m. Suggested minimum donation is $5. For more information contact 245-7002 or Qi@hawaii.rr.com.
