Grace Ramiscal

Grace Fernandez Ramiscal of Kapa‘a died June 26, 2011, at Straub Clinic and Hospital at age 39. She was born in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on Aug. 28, 1971, and was a shift supervisor for Jeans Warehouse Kaua‘i.

She is survived by her parents, Ludovico “Alfredo” and Gabriela “Gabby” Ramiscal; brothers, Cherry (Haidee) Ramiscal and Michael Ramiscal; nephew, Cedric Ramiscal, all of Kapa‘a; Aunty Gonyang (Rick) Estrada; Aunty Estrella Ramiscal; Aunty Eugenia Molina and family of the Philippines; cousin, Estring Miguel and family; cousin, Jerry Molina and family of O‘ahu; numerous aunties, uncles, cousins and dear friends in Hawai‘i and the Philippines.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 16, at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing from 8 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Lihu‘e Cemetery at 11:15 a.m.

Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Ramiscal family with arrangements.

Conrad Tolbe

Conrad Maglinte Tolbe of Honolulu died in Pali Momi Medical Center at age 53. He was born on Kaua‘i.

He is survived by father Jose; mother Cecilia Guerrero; stepfather John Guerrero; daughters Shaundie-lynn Louis, Sandra-Marie Kaaiaka-manu and Shayna-lee Tolbe; brothers Joe Jr., Rudyand Byron; sisters Amelia, Darlene and Rowinna; uncle Jaime (Marilyn) Tolbe; cousins Stephanie (William) Figueira, Howard (Anna) Tolbe, Clara (Gary) Mackler, Colleen (Joven) Bautista, Brandon Tolbe, Preston Tolbe, Merna (Roger) Tumbaha, Melvin (Lynn) Tolbe, John Tolbe, and nine grandchildren.

Visitation is 10 a.m. July 12 at Moanalua Mortuary. Services are at 11 a.m. with burial at 1 p.m. at Hawai‘i State Veterans Cemetery, Kane‘ohe.
