My starting point was the Westside (Waimea), but where did my friend and I end up? The Eastside Restaurant & Bar, where my journey started and never ended. When you get there, you are greeted by the friendly staff and right away are asked if you would like a drink at the bar.
As you look around, you see the local band I’o strumming guitars, playing that local music that relaxes you. Then you have choices: do you want to sit by the bar or sit down at the tables to the left or right of the entrance? No matter where you decide to sit, you won’t regret it. The service is fast, friendly and fun.
If you haven’t tried the food yet, you should definitely stop by in and try pupus such as Five-spiced Kung Pao Calamari or Ahi Poke. But don’t stop there; try the main dishes like the Basil Scented Opakapaka, or their yummy Potato Crusted Mahi Mahi. And to top off the night, go for the Warm Apple Volcano, dessert that is to die for.
