Kinjiro Kabazawa
Kinjiro Kabazawa of Kalaheo died on June 27, 2011, at his home at the age of 85. Born on March 22, 1926, in Waimea, Kaua‘i, he was a delivery salesman with Waimea Dairy and retired with Meadow Gold Dairies. He was a Korean War Veteran and a member of the Waimea Shingon Mission.
He was preceded in death by son, Wayne Kabazawa; parents, Tetsuzo Kabazawa and Sui Matsuda Kabazawa; brothers, Kentaro and Kiyoshi Kabazawa; sisters, Norma Takeshita and Sumi Quiriault.
He is survived by his wife, Tomiko; son, Royden Kabazawa of Kalaheo; daughters, Myra Kabazawa of Kalaheo and Amy (Darren) Kiyotsuka of Kalaheo; grandchildren, Kehaulani Regidor, Kahele Regidor and Kyle Kiyotsuka; sisters, Carolyn (Kenneth) Omoto of O‘ahu and Sadie Doi of Hanapepe; sister-in-law, Flora Kabazawa of O‘ahu; nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, the Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery Pavilion in Hanapepe. Service, officiated by Rev. Leonard Abeshima, will begin at 10 a.m. followed by burial. Casual attired is suggested.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary.
Pamela Prinzing
Pamela J. Prinzing of Kalaheo died on June 30, 2011, at her home at the age of 57. Born on May 24, 1954, in Oakland, Calif., she was a loving wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Buttiner.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Prinzing of Kalaheo; daughters, Heather, Melia and Bryanna Prinzing all of Kalaheo; sister, Tasara (Rob) Coats of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., and nephews.
A memorial service has been scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, July 8, at the Kaua‘i Christian Fellowship in Po‘ipu. Casual attire is suggested.
