Kinjiro Kabazawa
Kinjiro Kabazawa of Kalaheo died on June 27, 2011 at his home at the age of 85. Born on March 22, 1926 in Waimea, Kaua‘i, he was a delivery salesman with Waimea Dairy and retired with Meadow Gold Dairies. He was a Korean War Veteran and a member of the Waimea Shingon Mission.
He was preceded in death by son, Wayne Kabazawa; parents, Tetsuzo Kabazawa and Sui Matsuda Kabazawa; brothers, Kentaro and Kiyoshi Kabazawa; sisters, Norma Takeshita and Sumi Quiriault.
He is survived by his wife, Tomiko; son, Royden Kabazawa of Kalaheo; daughters, Myra Kabazawa of Kalaheo and Amy (Darren) Kiyotsuka of Kalaheo; grandchildren, Kehaulani Regidor, Kahele Regidor and Kyle Kiyotsuka; sisters, Carolyn (Kenneth) Omoto of Oahu and Sadie Doi of Hanapepe; sister-in-law, Flora Kabazawa of Oahu; nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery Pavilion in Hanapepe. Service officiated by Rev. Leonard Abeshima will begin at 10 a.m. followed by burial.
Casual attired is suggested.

Toshio “Roy” Hashimoto of Hanapepe Valley died June 14, 2011 at his home at age 85. Born on Nov. 27, 1925, in Hanapepe, he was a foreman with Waimea Poi Mill.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Hashimoto.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Hashimoto; son, Clyde (Sulyn) Hashimoto of Puhi; daughters, Hazel (Wayne) Fujimoto of ‘Ele‘ele, Susan (Donald) Fujimoto of Lihu‘e and Lynne (Leslie) Tamashiro of ‘Ele‘ele; grandchildren, Gregg, Amber, Tate, Ashlee (Lane), Tiffanee, Caysee (Elijah), Harlee, Leeza and Leeana; great-grandchild, Michaelah; sisters, Tomie Kawahara and Alice Ikeda, both of Honolulu; sister-in-law, Florence Hashimoto of Honolulu; nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Kalaheo Ward; service begins at 10 a.m.
Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.

Priscilla Garcia
Priscilla Jane Garcia of ‘Oma‘o died peacefully June 24, 2011, at home at age 69. Born on May 17, 1942 in Lihu‘e, Kaua‘i, she was a proprietor of Harvey’s Flooring.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margaret Nunes, and sister, Donna Gonsalves.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey Garcia; sons, Nelson (Margaret) Garcia, Leroy Garcia, Russell (Cynthia) Garcia; hanai daughter, Yasha Garcia; sisters, Jennifer (Joseph) Daos, Louise (Kenneth) Santos; step-sisters, Gayle (Robert) Kaliko, Linda Olshelfski; step-brother, Roy Olshelfski; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Service will be held on Saturday, July 2, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. and Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary, Koloa.
