Alice Dabin

Alice “Cissy” Rapozo Dabin of Wailua Houselots died on June 13, 2011, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 77. Born on Aug. 27, 1933, on the island of O‘ahu she was a floral arranger for Flowers Forever.

She is preceded in death by parents, John and Helen Rapozo; brothers, Wilfred, Edward, James, John Jr. and Joseph; sisters, Esther Kuhaulua and Hana Copp.

She is survived by daughters, Debra (Willie) Cummings of Wailua Houselots; Carolin (John H. Jr.) Kuehu  of Anahola; sons, Darrell (Faith) Dabin of Hanamaulu; Daniel (Hoku) Dabin of Honolulu; Carl (Suzie) Dabin of Kapaa; Clayton (June) Dabin of Kapaa; Craig Dabin of Honolulu; sisters, Amelia (Tony) Dias of Kona; Wanda Siitani of Honolulu; brother, George (Lani) Rapozo of Kapahi; sister-in-laws, Marlene Rapozo of Honolulu and Lorraine Rapozo of Anahola; 23 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 18, at Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church in Kapa‘a. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. and Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Inturnment to follow at Saint Catherine’s Cemetery in Kapa‘a. Paina will follow after services, sharing of Cissy’s life at church hall.

Aloha attire is suggested.

Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary, Koloa.

Todd Hendryx

Todd T. Hendryx of Kekaha died at home on June 10, 2011. Born in Portland, Ore., on Oct.  25, 1940, he was a retired insurance agent.

He is survived by sons, Todd M. Hendryx; Christopher A. Hendryx; Brad R. Oats; daughter, Kim Powell; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Baha‘i Service to be held on Friday, June 17, at 10 a.m. at Lihu‘e Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary.
