Pride 2011

Today through Sunday at Kaua‘i Beach Resort in Lihu‘e.

Lambda Aloha and PFLAG Kaua‘i co-sponsors the island’s largest Pride celebration. At 6 p.m. today, watch a “Priscilla Queen of the Desert” poolside followed by a campfire on the beach. From 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, shop in the lobby with local vendors. From 7 p.m. to midnight Saturday, attend a rainbow dance party (wear white). Starting at 11 a.m. Sunday, enjoy games and family picnic at Marine Camp Beach (south of the hotel). Visit for more information.
