The originating officers for the Kaua‘i Off-Road Riders hosted its final off-road motorcycle event recently, attracting more than 400 riders anxious to ride following a week of rain.
With part of the course snaking through Kaua‘i Coffee Co. lands, the normal field dust was now shallow puddles of mud and what was a little stream crossing became a river crossing for experienced riders only, observed Karen Ono, a longtime KORR supporter.
Each of the participant was offered a bento lunch and a lucky number for an opportunity to win a moped from Motorcycles Period.
Riders who rode the entire event and successfully pulling all the required checks before the poker hands were offered awards.
Division A riders included Nikki Pedro, Curtis Ritter, Chris Satterfield, Travis Talbo, Barry Simmons, Gelstin Dwight, Clayton Oshita, Ricky Equing, Clydge Rogers, Ernie Tamashiro, Ranen McKamey, Ryan Rutt, Peter Ricciardi, Makalii Andrade, Bruce Akaji.
Division B riders included Sage Gasdwag, Ryan Mackey, Sky Alabilla Keith Hiltsley, Carlos Rojas, RJ Quinsatt, John Afos, Neil Marugame, Julian Lucas, Elliot Lucas, Corey Kaui, Thomas Martins, Geordan Gray, Herbert Saito and Brendon Kelekoma.
Division C riders included Kaya Ramirez, Darly Gerardo, Stephen Rivera, Eli Camara, Tyler Clark, Bryzen Cadiz, Jeffrey Kelekoma, Justin McCallister, Dennis Jacintho, Cherelle Carvalho, Rex Bermudez, Kala Dusenberry, Lornette Correa, Shyanne Amoreta and Roger Taniguchi.
Adult Quad riders included Jenna Vegas, Lono Gardner, Darrell Samiano, Matthew Bernabe, Taylor Samiano, Sheri Thronas, Kawehi Taniguchi, Erin Santiago, Anthony Natividad, Malia Byram, Michael Otani, Christine Villanueva, Justin Douglas, Wilbur Villanueva and Nate Ragragola.
Keiki Quad riders included Blaze Silva, Kamu Santiago, Vayden Carineo, Nainoa Santos and Nainoa Ragragola.
Keiki Bike riders included Nicholas Byram, Isaiah Brainerd, Richard Silliman, Cyrus Medeiros, Gabriel Simmons, Liliana Nishibata, Jacob Huddy, Clyde Souza, Dallas Moku, Jacob Blancas, Chase Shop, Dillon Javellana, Hunter Cabral, Brennon Perreira and Makoa Shope.
Mountain Bike riders included Jason Barth, Roland Tamicala, Bruce Orth, Reynolds Agcaoli, Michael Tamashiro, Naoshi Graday, Joe Funk, Kalen Blaine and Leaf Jacobsen.
