Mahalo to Carol Pratt and Mary Bea Porter-King and all the volunteers and helpers (even got to see Lauren Yama, Sunday) for all the help in locating all those golfers out there.
Congratulations to Mary Bea who will be heading to New York to receive the Distinguished Service Award from the Metropolitan Golf Writers Association, June 7.
Kudos to Tony Motta and the Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay for hosting a great fundraiser for repair of the Hanalei Pier, Monday at Kaua‘i Mini Golf in Kilauea.
Normally, the facility is closed Mondays, and hats off to Kaimana and Chai Kuhaulua and Erica Brewer (she said she cannot imagine a Kaua‘i without the Hanalei Pier) for coming in and accomodating the Rotarians.
