KOLOA — A 42-year-old Filipino woman was reportedly shot in the thigh with a small-caliber handgun Sunday evening at her Koloa home.
Medics transported her to Wilcox Memorial Hospital for treatment. Her condition is unknown.
Kaua‘i police were responding to the scene of the incident at press time Sunday night. Children were reportedly inside the home where the woman was shot. It remained unclear if the shooter was still inside the home.
