Hats off to Thomas Noyes and Angelo Cattigay on the PIHI ride to Hanalei. Kaua‘i Police Chief Darryl Perry was part of that good-looking entourage, but they sure ride fast.
Destry Carvalho was on the coaching staff for the Kapa‘a Protect Our Nation’s Youth (how many of you knew what PONY stood for?) Baseball league. Coach Tommy John Cox had some of the Lihu‘e coaches in the parking lot at Kapa‘a after their game was cancelled, and when you see Dondi Viquelia doing umpire duty, it’s definitely PONY Baseball season.
OK, time to hele on to Isenberg Park for the big softball game between Kaua‘i and Waimea.
