Kelly Ragasa netted 10 points to lead Westside Basketball to a 32-18 win over Team Lihu‘e 2 as the county’s Department of Parks and Recreation hosted three 11 and Under games, Saturday at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.
Joining Ragasa, D.J. Pabre dropped six points and Avery Miguel topped the leaderboards with four points in the Westside win.
Tajh Mapuhi led the Team Lihu‘e 2 scoring with eight points followed by Ryan Joel and Micah Lalin adding five and two points, respectively.
Team Lihu‘e 1 redeemed the loss by Team Lihu‘e 2 by getting past the Kamikaze, 30-25, Michael Dasalia leading the charge with a game-high 17 points followed by Brennan Suniga adding 10 points and Demar Corcino ending with a pair.
Kalia Shimabukuro topped the Kamikaze effort with eight points followed by Monique Tomacder adding six points and Sierra Fernandez netting four points.
Strong guard Kicah Acoba ended with 21 points to lead Lepo Ula to a 44-33 win over Hanakila, the strong squad from the Northshore.
Following Acoba’s lead, Vayson Carineo and Justin Fune added eight and seven points, respectively.
Daniel Yabes topped the Hanakila showing with a dozen marks followed by Lexton Camat adding nine points and Triston Inanod-Hawelu getting four points.
The 11-team Winter basketball league wrapped up its season with three make-up games, Monday night at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center.
