Galerie 103 will live stream the installation and de-installation of “RE-APPEAR AT SOURCE,” a two-wall installation by Kilauea artist Rosa Silver. Silver’s work was recently on display at the Contemporary Museum in Honolulu as part of the Biennial of Hawai‘i Artists IX. “RE-APPEAR AT SOURCE” is described as a highly-imaginative, hypothetical display formulated after observations made of Silver’s recent room installation at the museum. Small-scale drawings and paintings, sculptures and intimate video snippets engage each other through a grid, drawn with a delicate line of blue watercolor pencil directly on the gallery’s walls. Galerie 103 will stream a live webcast, which is estimated to begin Feb. 23 and run intermittently until March 3. The opening reception is 6 to 8 p.m. March 3 at Galerie 103, which is located at Kukui‘ula Shopping Village in Po‘ipu. Call 742-0103 for more information.
