Mary Simao
Mary Perreira Simao died on Jan. 28, 2011 in Arizona at the age of 88. She was born in Koloa, Kaua‘i on May 16, 1922 and was a dedicated homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Paul (Narry) Simao, Anthony (Cathy) Simao, Steven (Joyce) Simao; sister, Helen Silva; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, February 7, 2011 at Holy Cross Church, with viewing from 9 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens,

Juan Sagucio Jr.
Juan “Junior” Rivera Sagucio Jr. of Kekaha died Jan. 25, 2011, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 55. Born Jan. 4, 1956, he worked for TSA at the Lihu‘e Airport.
He was preceded in death by parents Juan and Marcelina Sagucio Sr.
He is survived by son Jack (Lynell) Sagucio; brothers Bernardo (Gean) Sagucio, Elmer Sagucio, Edgar Sagucio; sisters Rizalina (Leon) Nacapuy, Carolina Pacol; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services to be held on Saturday, Feb. 5, at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary Chapel in Koloa. Visitation at 9:30 a.m. with service at 10:30 a.m. and cremation to follow.

Peter Kealoha
Peter “Uncle Pete” Kealoha Sr. of Kalaheo, Kaua‘i passed away on Jan. 26, 2011 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 72. Born on May 31, 1938 in Hanama‘ulu, Kaua‘i he was a Tour Guide with Polynesian Adventure Tours.
He is preceded in death by father David Kealoha and mother Hannah Racoma.
He is survived by wife Yvonne Kealoha; children Peter (Momi) Kealoha Jr., Sharon Sanico, Rene Mau, Hannah Kealoha, Sarah Kealoha, Sam Kealoha, Jesse (Odelia) Kealoha, Sweetie (Gaylord) Kahale, John (Nohea) Kealoha, Yvette (Lyle) Naka‘ahiki, John (Charla) Brock, Elena (Leina‘ala) Kealoha; hanai daughter Maria Finazzo; sisters Hannah Noblisse, Mary (Joe) Blakstad, Marta (Donald) Moniz, Hirene Chase; brothers David Kealoha Jr., William Racoma; 30 grandchildren and 36 greatgrandchildren

William Leleo
William “Bill” Henry Kaui Kahea Leleo of Anahola died at home on Jan. 26, 2011, at age 66. Born in Honolulu on Feb. 4, 1944, he was a retired mortician and funeral director.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Leleo; sons, Billy (Lisa) Leleo, Kaui (Melissa) Leleo, Kekai (Kuuleimomi) Leleo, Sean Hoapili; daughters, Tracy (Glenn) Honda, Camille (Clayton) Futa, Inola Leleo, Rachel (Blaine) Hookala, Kanoe (Shannon) Leleo-Rodrigues, Tirza (Hunter) Vetter; mother, Helen Leleo; brothers, Charles (Julia) Cabe, Daniel (Jan) Leleo; sisters, Nani (Harry) Woo, Shirley Paahana; 31 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 5, at Kapa‘a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with visitation at 1 p.m. and services beginning at 2 p.m.

Marcelino Toledo
Marcelino ‘Mac’ Vegas Toledo, of Lawa‘i, passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Jan. 20, 2011 at the age of 95. Born on June 28, 1915 in Kalaheo, he retired as a Truck Driver with McBryde Sugar Company.
He is survived by wife Eva Toledo; sister Mary Vales; brothers Martin (Emily) Toledo, John (Anita) Cruz; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Sat. Feb. 5, 2011 at Holy Cross Church from 9:00 a.m. where memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Cross Church Cemetery.

Charles Armstrong
Charles Allan “Chuck” Armstrong of Wailua Homesteads, Kaua‘i, Hawai‘i, died Jan. 15, 2011 at home with his family. He was 79 years old. He was born April 25, 1931 in New Ulm, Minnesota. Chuck served in the US Air Force during the Korean War, with the 1354 Video Production Squadron.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; son Lynn Charles Armstrong of Waipouli, Kaua‘i, Hawai‘i; daughters Vicki Cheyenne (Wayne) Harala of Florence, Wisconsin, Amy Faith (Joseph) Matson of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, Kathy Jill Mulic of Maple Grove, Minnesota, and Judy Marie (Thomas) Briggs of Minnetonka, Minnesota. 9 granchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Jane (Otto) Volkert of Austin, Minnesota; brother Robert Leland (Grace) Armstrong of Stockton, California; aunt , nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial and celebration of his life will be held on March 19, 2011, at Park Avenue United Methodist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota at 10:30 a.m. His ashes will be scattered at sea. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated for Kaua‘i Hospice or your favorite charity.
