• The Wednesday article “Father of murder victim speak out” should state that the prosecution added a first-degree murder charge to Vicente Hilario because the state alleges Aureo Moore was killed by Hilario because he knew Moore was a witness in a criminal proceeding (a robbery Aug. 21 at Safeway parking lot), and the killing was related to Moore’s status as a witness. Hilario did not need to be a defendant in the robbery case, his status on the robbery is irrelevant, according to County Prosecutor Shaylene Iseri-Carvalho.
